To Whom it may concern:

This letter is to confirm that I have known Ron Lemire personally and professionally for over 20 years. It is my pleasure to testify to the integrity and expertise that he has brought to the Massage Therapy profession over this time period. I have knowledge of his having completed his Massage Therapy training in Florida when the Florida Board of Massage required 1000 hours of curriculum for state licensure. In addition, we studied together at the Hoshino Therapy Clinic of Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida in 1979. A prerequisite for this program was to have completed Massage Therapy training and licensor in the State of Florida. The Hoshino Therapy Apprenticeship Program involved extensive training and practice in this highly specialized hands-on therapy designed to treat a wide variety of soft tissue related pain syndromes and structural problems. This program, of at least 800 Class Hours, involved evaluation and treatment strategies, structural anatomy and physiology. Exercise and movement therapy, and final exam testing with Professor Tomezo Hoshino, the mentor and inventor of this form of specialized Massage Therapy, and Richard Zukowski, L.M.T., who was Director at the time.

I have been in contact with Ron Lemire over the years and followed his professional work in Florida and in Aspen and Boulder, Colorado, where he practiced professional massage therapy for many years. I am aware also of his propensity to keep studying to advance his skills in varied aspects of Massage, Health, and Rehabilitation with professional training and study. It is obvious to me the he will be a credit to this profession in the State of Maine. I find his integrity and record beyond question.
