My name is Ron Kurtz. I am the President of Ron Kurtz Trainings, Inc., the Founder and past Director of the Hakomi Institute for Body-Centered Psychotherapy, and the developer of the Hakomi Method. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 1970. I have taught at Indiana University, San Francisco State, the Healing Arts Institute in Boulder, Colorado and at numerous conferences and related institutes, for example the Rolf Institute.

I have known Ron Lemire since 1978, when I was in Florida for a long winter’s vacation. He worked with me then and as recently as September of this year. He has been practicing massage and other types of bodywork continuously as long as I have known him. His bodywork, in my opinion, is of the highest caliber, worthy of the incredible faith that people like John Denver (the recently deceased singer/songwriter for whom he worked extensively) have in Ron.
